Pretty decent buffet! For ~$25 plus tax and tip - u get lots of tasty and interesting options to choose from.

Stir fried snails, steamed giant shrimp, raw oysters, salted crab legs - you can easily make your money worth. Not a fan of seafood? Teppanyaki, sushi, dim sum - something for everyone. Must try - durian puffs!

Plenty of seatings and relatively clean (there were couples of flies here and there). Plates were constantly cleared. Foods were replenished often. Overall - great for big groups and def one of the better buffets in the area!

Got to try Shiki Seafood Buffet recently to celebrate a friend's birthday.  I love going to buffets, but sadly, I don't think I'll be back... 2 stars!!

Food was just okay at Shiki.  Pretty good selection since the place is huge, but no dishes really stood out to me.  Moreover, it's really the price that's making me not want to come back.  The lunch price is $16 and the dinner and weekend price is $25.  In my opinion, Gold Hibachi in Alhambra and Kami in San Gabriel pretty much offer the same food choices and quality for a slightly cheaper price.  For a higher price, the food should be more delicious and noteworthy.  In addition, there's an automatic upcharge for groups of 10 or more.

The birthday buffet dinner took place on a Tuesday night, and the place was not too busy.  Can't speak for how busy it gets on a weekend.  The place used to be Hometown Buffet, so it's definitely bigger than Gold Hibachi and Kami, so it didn't feel too crowded.  It also still feels new with upscale furnishings, reminding me a little bit of Las Vegas buffets.

Perhaps I'll give Shiki another try... found a coupon in the weekly ad mailings!  Look for a coupon to offset the regular price.

If you know me, you know I prefer quality over quantity, however I do make exceptions; a friend's birthday makes the cut. It's why I was at Shiki Seafood earlier this week.

I don't know the name of the plaza however, know that that means tons of parking. At least there was on a Tuesday night at 7PM. I can't speak for what it would look like on the weekends.

The restaurant looks newish and is very spacious. Large groups can definitely be accommodated. Our group wasn't that large, only about 20 people. One nice touch - so there's not one person responsible for the tab, the staff made an arrangement to allow each person to pay their individual bill with an set gratuity due to the group size.

Service, for me personally, was pretty good. Not that I needed much other than refills as it's a buffet meaning it's go get your own food - but my plates were cleared quickly and I didn't have to ask more than once for refills. Because of the nature of service in a buffet, I can't ask for more than that ...

As for the food - it's ok. If you look at my pics, I didn't even try half of what's offered. The troughs or trays were constantly filled - including the coveted crab legs, Sashimi and Sushi. On each visit, I never saw an empty platter or serving dish.

Guess to recap and stay in line with the Yelp rating - I'm not a fan (4 stars) of buffets but felt it was an ok (3 star) experience.

    Great parking..

Super luxurious interior and beautiful design.

They have everything from salad bar and raw seafood such as ( Oyster!,clams, octopus, shrimp and so on..) as well have deserts 14 types of ice creams, cakes, several sushi,2 different BBQ locations including seafood, veggies, pork, lamb, beef, chicken on demand and several types of dishes including *vegetarian and vegan options! *

Very warm hospitality and respectful staff upon entering.

I really did love their super shrimp (jumbo or whatever it calls) it was the biggest shrimp with skin and amazing taste, texture and very fresh,

Got a few fresh Oysters in salad bar which was good but not great still it's a expensive option..

*** one thing that was super luxury and didn't see it in any other buffet was their 3 options of fresh squeezed juices including (honeydew, berry mix and banana straw berry) my favorite and my friends was honeydew melon juice***

Restrooms were all clean and smells good.

I highly recommend this place for your number 1 buffet .. the price is $25 per person for dinner and weekends whole day..

They have choice of beers and coffee and tea as well but with extra charge..
